Fellow Trinity Health Foundation board member Becky Little and I had the pleasure of visiting the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital’s “Grow With Me†NAS Care Coordination service and Outpatient Clinic on Friday. They were a 2016 Phase II grant recipient from Trinity. This innovative service and clinic provides continuity of care and resources through outpatient visits to NAS patients and their caregivers to age five to monitor their physical and emotional health, assess their ongoing development and help them understand the extent of their needs. We were impressed with the progress being made to implement the program and hope that it is wildly successful. This photo is of the inter-disciplinary team that treats each case.
